OmniRide Policies
Bus Stops
OmniRide buses stop in several neighborhoods along each route.
In addition, they provide service to all the major Park and Ride commuter lots
in eastern Prince William County and the Portsmouth and Manassas Mall Commuter Lots that serves
the Manassas area. For specific information see OmniRide schedules.
Holiday Service
OmniRide will provide limited service on the holidays listed below.
Trips that operate on Modified Holidays are noted with shaded times on OmniRide schedules.
- King/Lee/Jackson Day
- President's Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Friday
- Christmas Eve
OmniRide will NOT operate on these holidays:
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day.
Priority Seating
Priority seating is available for mobility-impaired passengers.
These seats are located in the
front of each bus and are clearly marked. Applications for Priority Seating
Passes may be downloaded online,
or obtained by mail or by calling (703) 730-6664 or (888) 730-6664.
Bike Racks
For the convenience of bicyclists, PRTC’s OmniLink,
Cross County and Metro Direct buses have been equipped with bike racks.
Each rack holds two bicycles and is easy to use. Bike racks are not available
on OmniRide commuter buses. To learn more about how to use the bike racks,

Lost and Found
Items found on OmniRide buses will be held at the PRTC
Transit Center at 14700 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA for 30 days. To
inquire about a lost item, please call (888)730-6664, send email to Omni@OmniRide.com or
complete our online Lost & Found
Form.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, tune into your TV or radio
for service bulletins, call (888) 730-6664 or log on to this website
for the latest updates. The level of service during inclement weather is dependent
on the type and amount of precipitation. See PRTC's Emergency
Service Plan for more details.
Emergency Service Plan
In the event of an emergency situation within OmniRide's service
area, which disrupts or inhibits serving published stops, buses may operate
according to the Emergency Service Plan.
Passengers will be notified via a Rider Express email or may listen
to a recorded message on (888) 730-6664 (option "0").
Passenger Conduct
PRTC reserves the right to deny entry to, expel and/or
temporarily or permanently ban any person from PRTC property and/or vehicles,
who in the judgment of PRTC management or its agent, is imperiling public
safety or being a public nuisance. Actions that could imperil public
safety or qualify as a public nuisance include, but are not limited to,
(1) verbal or physical intimidation; (2) disrespecting the rights of
other PRTC patrons; (3) use of profanity; (4) lewd behavior; (5) refusal
to pay a fare; and (6) defacing or otherwise damaging PRTC-owned assets.
