It's not too late to purchase an OmniLink Teen Summer pass, but the last day of sales is almost here. FRIDAY, AUGUST 6 is the final day that PRTC will sell the 2010 OmniLink Teen Summer Pass.
Although summer vacation is nearly over, teens can still get their money's worth out of a Summer Pass. The pass costs $30 and in return, teens get unlimited rides on OmniLink and Cross County Connector buses through September 4, 2010. Just look at the math! The regular bus fare is $1.20 for a one-way trip, so a teen who rides round-trip five days a week would pay $12 cash per week, or $48 for a month of rides. Why do that when you can get unlimited local rides for $30?
Passes may be purchased weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the PRTC Transit Center, 14700 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge. And when you purchase a pass, you get a FREE GIFT while supplies last.
Teens (13-19) should bring proof of age and a photo ID. We'll apply a Teen Summer Pass sticker to the photo ID, and the teen will simply show that ID with the sticker to the bus operator each time he or she boards the bus. Don't have a photo ID? Don't worry - we'll provide you with an OmniLink Teen Summer Pass card with a sticker instead! Please note that lost, damaged or stolen passes will be replaced once for a discounted fee of $15.
It's still a great deal...don't miss out on the best bargain of the summer. Get your OmniLink Teen Summer Pass today - before it's too late!
