WINTER WEATHER IS COMINGPosted 11/06/2012
The first winter weather event of the season is forecast for our region for Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Please take a moment to review PRTC's Winter Weather Emergency Service Plan (ESP) at http://www.prtctransit.org/myprtc/esp.php. The ESP has been updated for 2012-13.
PRTC will monitor conditions and if service changes are warranted, starting at 4 a.m. for morning service and at 11 a.m. for afternoon service, customers should check for:
-- A Rider Express e-mail advisory; -- A special alert on the home page of this website;
-- A recorded message at (703) 730-6664 or long-distance (888) 730-6664;
-- Announcements on local television stations and on WTOP radio (103.5 FM) if time and circumstances warrant.
REMEMBER: No news is good news. If you don't see a service change alert, PRTC buses are operating regular service.
