SNOW FORECAST FOR THURS., JAN. 4

Posted 01/03/2018

Snow is forecast for our region overnight. Please take a moment to review PRTC's Emergency Service Plan (ESP) for Weather Events. ESP brochures are also available on board buses.

PRTC will monitor conditions and if service changes are warranted, starting at 4 a.m. for morning service and at 11 a.m. for afternoon service, customers should check for:

  • A Rider Express e-mail or text message advisory;
  • A special alert on PRTC’s website www.PRTCtransit.org;
  • A recorded message at (703) 730-6664;
  • Announcements on local television stations and on WTOP radio (103.5 FM) if time and circumstances warrant.

REMEMBER:  No news is good news. If you don't see a service change alert, PRTC buses are operating regular service.
