Have you seen one of OmniRide’s new buses yet – or better yet, ridden on one? The new color scheme and exterior logo grab your attention, especially when they are breezing through the Express Lanes as other vehicles creep along in the regular lanes.

OmniRide took delivery of 37 new MCI buses in October 2018, and the first bus was wrapped to feature the new logo and color scheme in November 2018. That’s right – the buses aren’t painted but are wrapped in a pliable vinyl!

The new 45-foot MCI buses will enable OmniRide to run more reliable Express services, not only for existing routes but also for future and expanded routes along the Express Lanes on I-95/395 and I-66. The buses also sport passenger-friendly features including USB and power outlets.

By the end of January 2019, all 37 new buses will be wrapped and placed into service throughout the Prince William County region. In addition, some 10-year-old buses that are undergoing mid-life overhauls this year will also get the new look! So keep your eyes open – if you haven’t seen one of our new buses yet, it won’t be long before you do!
