What is OmniRide?

OmniRide is PRTC's commuter bus service. OmniRide offers convenient weekday (Monday - Friday) service (excluding some holidays) from locations throughout Prince William County along the I-95 corridor and Manassas and Gainesville areas along the I-66 corridor to destinations that include the Vienna, West Falls Church and Franconia/Springfield Metrorail Stations, the Pentagon, Crystal City, Rosslyn/Ballston, downtown Washington, D.C., Capitol Hill, the Washington Navy Yard, Bolling AFB, and Anacostia NAS. See the schedules for hours of operation for each route.

PRTC also provides Metro Direct services to the Franconia-Springfield and West Falls Church Metro stations. The Metro Direct services are ideal for commuters with non-traditional work schedules and those who need midday commuting options.

What Is Metro Direct?

Metro Direct buses provide weekday connecting service to nearby Franconia-Springfield and West Falls Church Metrorail Stations. The service is a great fit for commuters with non-traditional work schedules and those who need midday commuting options. Metro Direct is perfect for day trips into northern Virginia and Washington, DC, while avoiding the stress and congestion of traveling on I-95 or I-66. There are three Metro Direct routes. See the schedules for hours of operation for each route.

Prince-William Metro Direct

The Prince William-Metro Direct provides all day service Monday-Friday, connecting the Franconia-Springfield Metro station to points in eastern Prince William County, including the Horner Road Commuter Lot, Potomac Mills Mall, PRTC's Transit Center and the Route One corridor.

Manassas Metro Direct

The Manassas Metro Direct provides weekday service between the Manassas area and the West Falls Church Metro Station. Stops include Manassas Mall, the Manassas VRE Station and Manassas Junction Shopping Center. There are also three AM ONLY trips to the Vienna Metro Station.

Linton Hall Metro Direct

The Linton Hall Metro Direct provides weekday, rush hour service between Gainesville and the West Falls Church Metro Stations - the perfect relief to the congestion and stress of I-66! Buses serve stops along the Linton Hall corridor, then travel express on I-66 to the Metro Station.
