Construction on 18th Street is causing significant delays for morning traffic and is impacting the on-time performance of the M-8R trip.  
As a result, the M-8R will be detoured in the AMs during the week of Oct. 20.  The construction work is expected to wrap up on Friday, Oct. 24. 
 
Buses will detour over E Street to 17th, missing stops at 18th and F and 18th and Pennsylvania, before turning onto H Street and then will resume regular routing.  Operators will drop off passengers at intersections along 17th Street where it is safe to do so.  

Regular service on the M-8R is expected to resume on Monday, Oct. 27.
