Now that Labor Day is past and everyone has returned from their summer vacations, PRTC has analyzed its most recent ridership statistics and has identified several overcrowded trips.   

Although PRTC's management prepared and presented a plan to the PRTC Board in July calling for additional service hours to alleviate the overcrowding that was apparent at that time, overcrowding has become even more acute than the July plan envisioned.  As a result, PRTC management is revising the plan to propose further supplementation of service hours and buses for the PRTC Board's consideration in the near future. In the interim, we're using our limited available resources where the needs are greatest.
