Teen Programs

Teens are striving for independence, but some don’t have driver’s licenses yet – or don’t have permission to borrow the car. OmniLink is the perfect solution. The local bus is safe and economical with routes serving Dale City, Dumfries, Manassas, Manassas Park, the Route 1 corridor and Woodbridge/Lake Ridge. There’s even a Cross County Connector to link eastern Prince William County with the Manassas area.

In 2008, PRTC launched the OmniLink Teen Summer Pass. With the pass, teens got unlimited rides on all OmniLink and Cross County Connector buses for two months for $20. Check out the Places of Interest page to see some popular destinations on the local bus routes. Plans are underway to offer the OmniLink Teen Summer Pass again in 2009. Be sure to check back on this page for details in Spring 2009.

Want to learn the basics about riding the bus? PRTC’s PR Specialist is available for group presentations at local middle and high schools or at the PRTC Transit Center. To learn more or to schedule a presentation, send an email to crodrigo@omniride.com or call 703-583-7782.
